Jeepin' for Healin' 2008

Hello everyone! 

This year's "Jeepin' for Healin' Trail Ride" event was taking place at Paine's Hill located inside Nipmuck State Forest in Union, CT. My wife & I had taken this same trail back in 2005, but due to some land issues between the state of CT and a private land owner, we were forced to take an alternate route through the forest. Recent rains made for a great challenge when negotiating deep stream crossings, muddy hillclimbs, underwater rocky mud holes. The temp's were 40º and mostly cloudy, although we did feel a few drops here and there, it was very chilly when the wind picked up.

Please note that several of the pix were taken while driving, as well as, my wife was shooting pix for the first time with a digital camera. I did my best trying to "clean" up the images using Adobe's Photoshop 4.0. The rest of the pix are super crisp and were NOT re-touched in any way.
